Sandy On Display

Part of the fun of owning a "classic" vehicle is sharing it with other people. My dad and I spend quality time together at these events with our cars and our BS. My very favorite part is watching the kids wide eyed and excited to see the Sandy.

Hillsborough Concours d'Elegance

A spectacular event, right around the corner from where I grew up, with a fun driving tour the day prior. The drive was a lot longer than I expected but fantastic with its twists and turns over the foothills and up the coast. The show on Sunday had great weather and really enhanced our farmer tans. Sandy won first in class.

Werks Reunion Monterey

A little bit longer road trip but even a slice of Car Week in Monterey is worth the miles. Dad brought a car this time so twice the Porsche - twice the fun. Sandy took home 2nd place in a very tough field of 14 cars. We are looking forward to next year at Corral de Tierra Country Club. 

Rennsport

A lot of Porsche nuts, parking a lot of Porsches to go look at a lot of other Porsches. Sandy has been part of the Historic Display at Rennsport Reunion 4, 5, and 6. At RRIV I had the opportunity to drive Sandy around the Laguna Seca Track as part of PCNA's launch of the new 991 in 2011 - dad shouting almost the entire time that I was "off the line!"
